“Team Chatham”, an elite team of mortgage professionals, led by Joseph C. Chatham, welcomes you to our website! By design, you have come to us by way of a referral from a trusted advisor (attorney, CPA, banker, financial advisor, etc.) or because you are a repeat client! WE DO NOT ADVERTISE! WHO WE ARE

As stated in our welcome, we are a team of long-time mortgage professionals (broker, broker-associates, transaction coordinators, and/or processors) brought together to assist you, our client(s), with all your mortgage needs. Between our four team members, we have over 75 years of mortgage experience! The least seasoned amongst the team has ten years experience! Please see the tab “Bio’s” for a full description of each member.

WHAT WE DO

Team Chatham was brought together to handle your loan from “origination” through “recordation”. We will shop the file with as many lenders as possible to get you the best possible mortgage solutions. We are approved with dozens upon dozens of mortgage lenders (Wells Fargo, B of A / Countrywide, Union Bank of California, Provident Funding, Sierra Pacific, PRMG, Etc., etc., etc.) If we cannot broker the loan through our network of direct lenders, we will use our co-brokering model and shop it through our network of trusted brokerage “partners” and their respective networks of direct lenders.*  Thus, we can assure you that we will perform the most thorough research and present the most appropriate loan solutions available for your specific situation. We consider other broker's our partners, NOT our competitors! We are not limited to only one lender’s limited portfolio of products!  We can do anything that our lenders can do and anything that our "partners" can do.  Thus, we are the ultimate source for mortgage solutions: purchases, refinances, conforming, conventional, portfolio, jumbo, super-jumbo, Reverse Mortgages, home equity lines (HELOCS), seconds, hard money, etc.

As a client, you are entitled to the best product solutions, for your specific needs, at a competitive cost, with superior customer service! Every member of our team has a specific purpose to insure that you get everything you deserve. Thus, we have divided the responsibilities of the loan process into highly manageable pieces to insure that every step of the way, you are getting the full attention of a professional. Every step of the way, you will be kept abreast of the progress of your file. Your contact person will be selected based on your needs and their strengths. The whole process is managed by Joe Chatham, a qualified "Leader" and consultant to many of the worlds largest (and smallest) hedge funds, mutual funds, and financial institutions (Per Gerson Lehrman Group, the leading expert advisory organization in the world).  "Leader" represents the top 5% of consultants and is the higherst echelon according to GLG) 

WHY WE DO IT THIS WAY

Given the large volumes of applications, the ever-changing lending landscape, prodcct evolution, and the paper-intensity of the mortgage business, we have found that by “dividing and conquering” the tasks of a mortgage solution, we can close the loan more quickly, efficiently, and with better communication.
